We are a modern family winery with a future in the heart of Rheinhessen with 34 hectares of our own vineyards plus purchased grapes. We market our wines both in Germany and internationally. In addition to focusing on our identity grape varieties Riesling, Silvaner and the Burgundy family, we are curious and keen to experiment: this is why varieties such as Alvarinho and Cabernet Sauvignon are also planted on our chalky soils in the high altitudes of Rheinhessen. In addition to a familiar and warm-hearted work and winery culture, it is fundamental for us to work sustainably. We like to experiment and look for new ways. We spare no effort when it comes to producing first-class wines. That's why we do a lot of work in the cellar and vineyard by hand.
Your area of responsibility
- You accompany the wines from the grape to the bottle, i.e. all cellar management tasks, from grape reception to pressing, flotation, fermentation management, kieselguhr filtration and bottling preparations
- Participation in young wine tastings and cuvéeing of wines with the management
- Working in the order picking warehouse and operating the labeling machine
- Supporting the field operations during work peaks, especially during hauling work
- Documentation on the PC of both cellar management activities and warehouse activities
What we want from you
- Completed training or studies in viticulture & oenology and several years of professional experience
- Hands-on mentality, all-rounder qualities
- Structured and careful work
- Tractor and forklift driving are the basics for you
- The will to develop yourself and your skills further
